US airlines enjoyed their best month ever in November for cancelled flights and mishandled baggage.
The Transportation Department reported just 0.29% of scheduled domestic flights were cancelled which bettered the record low of 0.33% in September.
Delta with zero cancelations, Alaska Airlines and Frontier had the lowest rate of US airlines while ExpressJet Airlines was the highest with 0.9% canceled.
Airlines were also more punctual although not at record levels.
On-time arrival rate across the industry was an average 86.5%, with both Hawaiian Airlines and Delta leading the way with rates above 91%.
There were 2.02 instances of mishandled bags per 1,000 passengers in November which was the lowest since 1987 when it began compiling the data.
The Air Travel Consumer Report also said customer complaints were down year over year regarding airline service.
The 1,020 complaints recorded represented a reduction of nearly 22% from a year ago.
