Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association unveils new CEO
The Caribbean Hotel and Tourism Association has announced some leadership changes, including the naming of a new CEO.
CHTA’s Board of Directors has elected Frank Comito as chief executive ahead of the CHTA Caribbean Travel Marketplace conference in Puerto Rico.
He is a former executive vice president of the Bahamas Hotel and Tourism Association and succeeds Jeff Vasser who stepped down at the end of 2014.
Comito will form a new look executive team including CMO Matt Cooper and a new COO, Vanessa Ledesma.
"My challenge is to help to connect the dots, to help make our members, our national hotel association, their jurisdictions and the region as a whole a better place for tourism," Comito said.
