Carnival Cruise Line sending another ship to Alaska

Carnival Cruise Line is sending a second ship north to Alaska for the 2021 season.

From April 2021, Carnival Freedom will join Carnival Miracle in Alsaka and sail week-long Glacier Route cruises.

Freedom will operate a total of 21 Alaska voyages from Seattle through September 22, 2021.

Glacier Route itineraries call at Victoria, B.C., Skagway, Juneau and Ketchikan, as well as Tracy Arm Fjord.

Freedom will reposition to the west coast on a 17-day Carnival Journeys Panama Canal cruise out of Galveston with calls in Colombia, Costa Rica and Mexico.

After the Alaska season it will return through the Panama Canal en route to its winter season homeport of Fort Lauderdale.
