Cash-strapped Air India auctioning off real estate assets
Ahead of a planned privatisation, Air India is selling off some of its remaining assets. It plans to auction off several non-core real estate assets located in New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Mengaluru, Nashik, and Nagpur.
It includes offices, apartments, and staff quarters. The assets will go under the hammer at an online auction on 9 July which hopes to raise tens of millions of dollars for the cash-strapped carrier.
