Cheapnights.com relaunches
Cheapnights.com has been relaunched as a deals-led site featuring offers from 130 partners including Accor, Thistle Hotels, Holiday Inn, Days Inn and Moat House Hotels, along with specialist hotel booking agencies and independent properties.
The site originally launched in April 2001 as a directory of accommodation firms and the redesign follows a year of industry research, live trials and technology development.
Like its parent Cheapflights.co.uk, the site does not sell any product itself but advertises offers on behalf of suppliers. The site also provides links including an A-Z directory of hotel chains, a business travel section and a section for group bookings. There is also a ‘hot deals’ section and links to the Rough Guides and National Parks sites.
Hugo Burge, Chief Operating Officer of parent company Cheapflights.co.uk and executive in charge of the Cheapnights.com relaunch said: “Cheapnights is the most important travel website launch this year. Not only is it a site designed for a global audience; it also provides something for which the Internet is well suited – the ability constantly to update the best deals available world-wide.”
