Children under 18 get vaccine exemption for US

The US confirmed it will exempt children under 18 from providing vaccination status when borders open next month. It will also exempt people from countries with a shortage of vaccines. All travellers must be tested for the virus prior to boarding flights, while all airlines must collect contact information on passengers.
The government is also tightening restrictions for unvaccinated Americans returning to the US. Foreign travellers are permitted to enter from overseas starting November 8.
