Travellers to Taiwan will soon be able to take advantage of an additional China Airlines weekly flight from Sydney to the island’s capital, Taipei.
The new service, launched after results revealed a 24 per cent increase in Australian visitors to Taiwan, will commence on December 4, 2007 and will depart every Monday from Taipei to Sydney and every Tuesday from Sydney to Taipei.
Jim Wong, Australian Sales Manager of China Airlines, says “The additional flights will allow even more Australians to visit Taiwan and experience firsthand what the country has to offer as a premium tourist and business destination.”
Renowned for being a bustling centre of commerce, government and culture, it is little wonder why the capital city of Taiwan has become a popular Australian tourist destination.
