China eases restrictions for travellers with a Chinese vaccination
China is making access into the country easier for foreigners who have received a Covid jab – as long as it is a Chinese made vaccine. Chinese embassies around the world have issued notices on new rules for foreign travellers.
Travellers who have received a non-Chinese made vaccine can still apply for a visa, although they will need more compelling reasons or specific documents. China has developed five vaccines, and 34 countries have approved at least one.
Although it is easier to secure a visa with a Chinese vaccination, entry for tourism purposes is still blocked.
