CLIA confirms entertainers as conference guest speakers
Former TV presenters Jonathan Wilkes and Nick Weir will speak at this year’s annual CLIA UK & Ireland conference taking place later this month.
Wilkes, a former host of You’ve Been Framed and stage performer, recently joined forces with cruise lines to provide acts for cruise ships from the Wilkes Academy performing arts training college.
Weir, a former host of Catchphrase, is now vice-president of entertainment for Royal Caribbean International.
Together they will share their experiences of working in the entertainment industry and will discuss the evolution of entertainment on board cruise ships.
CLIA UK & Ireland director Andy Harmer said: "They will provide delegates with an insight into the variety of award-winning performances on board ships and how cruise lines are continuing to evolve their entertainment offerings to ensure there is something for everyone."
