CLIA launches seven new cruise modules
CLIA has launched seven new cruise modules after a 60% increase in agents registering for e-learning.
Nearly 5,000 travel agents are now active on the CLIA learning platform, claims the association.
The new courses being launched are: Cruising Alaska, Cruising the Arctic and the Antarctic, Cruising the Atlantic Islands, Cruising the Indian Ocean, Cruising the Middle East, Cruising on the Nile and Transatlantic Cruising.
CLIA UK & Ireland director Andy Harmer said: "We have seen a rapid increase in the number of travel agents registering to use the Learning Academy.
"This rise is due to a number of reasons including our City & Guilds accreditation; we run the only travel agent programme currently to receive this recognition.
"CLIA accredited agents also stand out to potential customers as being cruise experts, so providing an important competitive advantage."
