Club Med checking in to Vietnam
Club Med is to debut its all-inclusive holiday concept in Vietnam.
The company has announced plans to open its first resort in Vietnam, Club Med Ho Tram.
Located in Vung Tau Province, the resort is about 90 minutes from Ho Chi Minh international airport and will feature 300 guestrooms and is slated for a 2021 opening.
Club Med Ho Tram will be constructed to Green Globe certification standards and will have signature Club Med experiences such as Flying Trapeze and archery among a full activities program.
Multiple restaurants and bars and MICE facilities are also planned.
The resort is the result of a strategic partnership between Club Med and Dynasty Investments.
"We are excited to venture into a new market and introduce our expertise in creating amazing experiential holidays to the destination. With our partner, Dynasty Investments, we are confident to grow Club Med Ho Tram into the region’s premium holiday destination," said Xavier Desaulles, CEO of Club Med East and South Asia Pacific.
Club Med has already unveiled plans to open 15 new resorts worldwide over the next three years, with several key resorts in Asia in the pipeline.
It recently announced Club Med Ceylon, which will be the brand’s first resort in Sri Lanka and a third Indonesian resort with Club Med Lombok.
