Conventioneers setting sail in San Diego

Fast-growing convention destination San Diego, California, is also adding to its sailing venues on San Diego Bay.

Hornblower Cruises & Events is adding the 1,2000-passenger Inspiration Hornblower to its fleet of eight other ships that can accommodate up to 800 people.

Charter Connection has 16 vessels for groups and recently added the Belle Amie, a 135-foot ship with three decks and a sundeck bar. All of its food is prepared fresh on board.

San Diego Harbor Excursions has 11 ships, with four of them hosting dinner cruises.
