Cordelia Cruises to start India cruise operations
Mumbai based Cordelia Cruises hopes to begin cruise operations in India from May 2021. Backed by Dream Hotel Group, Cordelia plans to serve domestic destinations including Goa, and the Lakshadweep islands, as well Sri Lanka and the Maldives.
The group plans to invest up to $300 million over the next few years to develop the Indian cruise sector.
"With 7,500 km of coastline and recent initiatives by the Indian government for coastal development, India is ready for cruising," Dream Hotel Group said.
