Corendon Airlines takes off from the UK
European leisure airline Corendon Airlines this week marked the launch of its inaugural UK summer 2022 schedules.
It flies from London-Gatwick, Manchester, Glasgow, Birmingham, and Newcastle International airports.
All the first flights from the five UK airports took off with over 90% capacity.
Ceremonies were held at each of the airports to celebrate the inaugural flights.
Due to the popularity of holidays to Turkey from English and Scottish holidaymakers, Corendon Airlines has expanded its number of flights to Turkey for summer 2022.
The airline now offers flights to Antalya, Dalaman, Bodrum, Crete and Rhodes throughout summer 2022 and is planning to expand by increasing the number of destinations in 2023.
Corendon Airlines Chairman of the Board Yıldıray Karaer said: “Demand from UK tourists for our Antalya and Dalaman flights is very encouraging.”
“Seeing our first flights for the summer 2022 season, travel with full capacity, is a fantastic start to what will be our first full season operating from the UK.”
As well as Antalya and Dalaman, there is positive demand for the other destinations from the UK,
“We plan to continue our flights to Antalya during the 2022/23 the winter season.”
