Costa to open second Savona terminal
Costa Cruises has begun work on a second passenger terminal at Savona Palacrociere in Italy.
The €9 million terminal, due to open in September 2013, will double capacity.
It will cover a total area of 3500m2 and will be a fully-functioning satellite terminal, connected to the existing Palacrociere so that it can use its services, but can also operate as a free-standing facility with its own waiting, transit and baggage handling areas.
There will also be separate policing by the various authorities.
