Cruise Agencies of the Year named
For the third time, Western Australia’s Bicton Travel has walked off with the Australian Cruise Agency of the Year award.
Manly United Travel took the honours as New Zealand Cruise Agency of the Year.
The 2013 Cruise Industry Awards were the first to be held under the banner of Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) Australasia.
Cruiseco CEO Steve Lloyd was named the inaugural inductee to the new CLIA Hall of Fame for his 45 years of service to the Australasian cruise industry.
More than 400 industry members attended the awards event at Sydney’s new Doltone House on Hyde Park.
The 2014 CLIA Australasia Masters Conference will be held on Crown Princess during a seven-night roundtrip cruise from Los Angeles to Mexico, marking the first time Princess Cruises has hosted the annual event.
