Crystal names airline veteran as SVP for Crystal Air

Crystal Cruises has named airline industry veteran Marc Cavaliere to head up its air operations.
Cavaliere was appointed senior vice president for Crystal Luxury Air and the soon to launch Crystal AirCruises, and will be responsible for all operations, sales and marketing of its airline business.
Crystal has a 12-seat Bombardier jet and an 88-seat Boeing 777-200LR which will fly two- and four-week around-the-world itineraries.
Cavaliere has spent more than 35 years in the airline business with roles at Pan Am, Spirit Airlines and American Airlines.
Recently he was executive vice president for the Americas for South African Airways and joins Crystal next month.
"We are delighted to welcome Marc to the Crystal team and are confident that, with such a well-rounded expert in this leadership role, Crystal Luxury Air and Crystal AirCruises will mark an extraordinary new standard of luxury air travel," said Crystal CEO Edie Rodriguez.
