CWT branches out in Germany

Sunday, 27 Oct, 2004 0

Carlson Wagonlit Travel has bought a German travel management company.

ONboard was acquired by CWT in a bid to strengthen the company’s German offerings. It takes the company’s branch presence in Germany from 66 to 71.

Formerly known as Travel Service Hoechst GmbH, ONboard has many blue chip clients predominantly in the chemical and pharmaceutical sectors.

CWT Worldwide president and chief executive Hubert Joly said: “One of our objectives is to support our clients across their increasing globalisation needs. While CWT is already a major player in Germany, the clients served by ONboard will now benefit from our global network, tools and capabilities.”
