Carlson Wagonlit Travel Meetings and Events has appointed Sharon Burrell as head of operations UK&I & Benelux.
With more than 25 years’ experience in the events industry, Burrell held the role of head of events for 12 years at Procon Conferences, now part of United Drug PLC.
Since 2004 she has worked as a freelance global conference and exhibition director within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, automotive and retail sectors.
In new new role she will report to Paul Stoddart, managing director UK&I & Benelux.~
"Her experience in delivering large scale congress will be particularly welcome to several of our global pharmaceutical clients," said Stoddart.
