CWT president and CEO moves to parent company
Carlson Wagonlit Travel president and CEO Hubert Joly has been appointed president and CEO of the travel management company’s parent company, Carlson.
From March 1, Joly will take over the reins of the global travel, hotel, restaurant and marketing giant.
He succeeds company co-owner Marilyn Carlson Nelson, who will continue as Carlson’s chairman of the board.
As a result of the move, the CWT board has mpw begun a search for a future CEO.
“After an extensive internal and external search, our board of directors unanimously agreed that Hubert has the business acumen, leadership qualities and global experience to lead our company to the next level of growth and excellence,” said Nelson.
Joly was appointed president and CEO of CWT in July 2004.
