CWT recruits Waller for top UK job

Thursday, 21 Nov, 2005 0

Carlson Wagonlit Travel has recruited Andrew Waller as UK executive vice-president, TravelMole understands.

Waller, whose travel industry experience includes British Airways, Norwegian Cruise Line and Walt Disney Travel Company, is due to join the buisness travel giant early next month.

He left Walt Disney in 2002 to go into the motor sports business and has been involved with London-based public relations company Siren, where it is thought will continue as a non-executive director.

Waller fills the gap left with Jim Tweedie moving jobs to head global accounts at CWT earlier this year. Waller will report to European boss Richard Lovell, who has been overseeing the UK.
