Visitors to Vietnam are being warned of potential disruption due to Tropical Cyclone Doksuri.
The UK Foreign Office says the cyclone has grown in strength and is now expected to make landfall in the area of Vinh in central Vietnam tomorrow.
“It may produce winds of up to 200kms per hour and is forecast to bring hazardous sea and weather conditions in central Vietnam,” said the warning.
“Doksuri may cause damage to property and flooding; you should follow the advice of the local authorities.”
It also said flights might be affected so travellers should keep in touch with their airline and travel agent and be prepared for potential airport closures or delays.
