Dataflexnet revamps fare system

Monday, 17 Jun, 2005 0

Technology supplier Dataflexnet has overhauled its booking system by introducing a raft of improvements for agents.

Among the major developments of FAREnetGlobal is the ability for business agents to search multiple fare types – including their contracted fares and third party rates – within one fare search.

Retailers can also book net fares and queue them in their own GDS and make passive bookings on no frills carriers, also in their GDS.

Dataflexnet sales director Steve Holmes said: “The new and improved system maximises business agents productivity and efficiency where they are holding 100 net fare contracts or none at all, FAREnetGlobal offers them the flexibility to provide the best possible customer service.”
