Delta ditching small-city routes
Delta Air Lines is downsizing its domestic networks and dropping service to three cities indefinitely. It is pulling out of Lincoln, Nebraska, and Grand Junction, Colorado on January 10, and the Delta Connection seasonal service to Cody, Wyoming won’t return next year.
It blames ‘the ongoing travel demand impact from the pandemic.’ The airline is also cutting service to four other airports including La Crosse, Wisconsin, Great Falls, Montana and Marquette County, Michigan.
