A spider was spotted between the two panes of glass in a cabin window on Delta Flight 5105 which was due to fly to Rochester.

Delta took no chances ‘out of abundance of caution’ and delayed the flight.
Last year a passenger was bitten by a brown recluse spider during a flight to South Africa causing a ‘horrifying’ injury.
The man came close to losing a leg.
This type of spider is found in central and southern US states but is extremely rare in the Upper Midwest.
