Delta launching new transpacific route to Seoul
Delta Air Lines is expanding its transpacific network with new Asia flights from Salt Lake City, Utah.
Delta will fly nonstop from SLC to Seoul, South Korea which will be the only flight between the two cities.
The airline will operate Airbus A350 aircraft on the route starting in June 2025.
Delta is the dominant airline at Salt Lake City, with nearly 250 peak-day departures to 90 destinations.
It flies overseas from SLC to major cities including Paris, Amsterdam and London.
Delta has existing Seoul flights from Atlanta, Minneapolis-St. Paul, Seattle, and Detroit.
For added connectivity, Delta has an existing codeshare partnership with Korean Air.
