Delta Air Lines is offering a 20 minute baggage collection guarantee to SkyMiles loyalty members.
The airline promises to have bags available for collection within 20 minutes for domestic flights and if it fails to do so, the frequent flyer account will be credited with 2,500 bonus miles.
The guarantee is only available to registered loyalty members and claims must be made within three days.
Oversize, overweight baggage and special items are not included in the promotion which runs until March 31.
Delta spokesman Anthony Black called the service ‘a test’ and gave no guarantees that it will be extended permanently.
