Might perks such as more leg room and free newspapers lure more business air travelers? Delta Air Lines is hoping so, as they test these added amenities until the end of January, according to The Traveler. In a 12-week test on flights from Atlanta to Kansas City and to Houston’s Hobby Airport, Delta is using jets without first-class sections but with leather seats and an added five inches of legroom, according to The Traveler. “Some industry experts think the strategy could lead to a broader, one-class strategy to differentiate the brand and compete against AirTran Airways, the discounter that has grown in many Delta markets,” said The Traveler.
