Discover the World has introduced a host of new self-drive and guided trips exploring Australia.

There are more flight choices than ever and opportunity to fit in a pre- or post-holiday around the British and Lions tour taking place this summer.

The new trips range from a family exploration of Queensland with free child places, a houseboat cruise or stay at a luxury lodge on Kangaroo Island.

Discover the World can offer a comprehensive tailormade travel service for holidays down under.

New trips include:

Family Adventure Down Under with 2 children under 12 travelling for free 

New for 2025 this 15-day trip explores the rainforests, reefs, and beaches of Queensland’s East Coast, with up to two children under 12 travelling for free. The trip includes the chance to explore the the Great Barrier Reef, as well as the oldest rainforest on earth. Highlights include a 3-night stay at Noosa Everglades Eco camp glamping in tents within the Great Sandy National Park. Then onto the Great Barrier Reef experience visiting the Frankland Islands where marine biologists are on hand for guided snorkelling experiences straight from the beach.

From £3973 per adult, excluding flights, based on two adults sharing with up to two children under 12 years free of charge.

New Murray River Houseboat Safari, South Australia

This small-group 4-day houseboat safari is the perfect for slow travel. The new luxury houseboat accommodates a maximum of 10 passengers and is ideal for birdwatchers, walkers, and wildlife lovers.

The 3-night trip includes guided walks, kayaking and a wetlands/lakes tour, as well as all meals and beverages. Departures are March-April and October-November from £1829 per person, based on two sharing. The houseboat safari pairs perfectly with the Barossa Valley wine region and a stay on Kangaoo Island.
