Disney World Florida has started erecting a wall around a lake where a toddler was dragged into the water and killed by an alligator.
Workers have been building stone boulder walls around the Seven Seas Lagoon at Grand Floridian Resort & Spa for several weeks.
This is part of Disney’s original safety response following the horrific attack in June, a spokeswoman told the Orlando Sentinel.
Immediately after the incident, the resort roped off the lagoon’s beach and erected signs warning of the dangers of alligators lurking in the water.
The body of two-year old Lane Graves, of Nebraska, was recovered 16 hours later in the water.
The family later said it has no plans to sue the resort.
