Walt Disney Co is reportedly planning to connect Orlando parks and resorts with a new cable car system.
A permit application has been filed for an aerial gondola transportation system which would potentially link Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Epcot with the Art of Animation Resort and Caribbean Beach Resort
Magic Kingdom previously had a small gondola system called Skyway for many years but that closed down in 1999.
Disney has made no comment but the plans detail new structures above the ground, while analysts say Disney is unlikely to be contemplating extending the monorail system due to cost.
