Disneyland Express airport bus service ending next month

The Disneyland Express service linking the theme park with two LA-area airports is closing down early next year.

Operator Coach USA announced it will be ending shuttle services to the Anaheim park from Los Angeles International and John Wayne Airport, Orange County on January 7.

Disneyland Express bus services run through the day and are branded with Disneyland livery.

It could be booked through the Disney website separately or as part of a Disney package.

Disney said guests booked will receive a refund or can be re-accommodated via another operator.

"Coach USA Southern California has informed their client Walt Disney that the bus service between John Wayne Airport and LAX and the Disneyland Resort Hotels will no longer continue after January 7, 2020," the company confirmed.

"Coach USA thanks our employees who have worked in this service."
