Disney’s Aulani Resort to reopen in Hawaii in November
Disney’s Hawaii based Aulani Resort will begin a phased reopening from 1 November.
Aulani, a Disney Resort and Spa has been closed since March due to Hawaii’s state-wide quarantine requirements for arriving passengers.
Hawaii’s pre-travel testing program is set to begin on 15 October, which will effectively kick start the stalled tourism industry across the state.
It allows out of state visitors to avoid the 14-day quarantine with proof of a negative coronavirus test taken within 72 hours of arrival.
"Given Hawaii’s recent announcement of a pre-arrival testing program for those traveling from out-of-state, we are working toward a phased reopening," Disney Parks Blog said.
"Just like our other Disney destinations that have re-opened, we are using a measured approach that focuses on the health and safety of our guests, cast and community."
The resort is offering Hawaii residents a Welcome Back offer with up to 50% off stays of two nights on selected dates through 21 December.
