Dolphin Dynamics celebrates its 15th anniversary with a doubling of new business sales – and a return to WTM
Dolphin Dynamics is returning to World Travel Market following a four year absence. The move it says reflects an upsurge in new business sales during 2009 which it has linked to the development of a new selling and management solution for tour operators. As well as a series of upgrades introduced into to its established back office product serving the leisure and corporate travel agency sector.
Founded in September 1994, the London based travel technology supplier indicated that new business sales during January to September 2009 were more than double those of the same period during 2008. And were also above 2007 and 2006 – when market conditions are widely considered to have been far more favourable.
Since a strategic review three years ago, Dolphin has launched a tour operator selling and management solution and has extended its software platform from its traditional back office proposition into both reservation and online booking solutions. As a result it says its new customers during 2009 include a much broader range of travel agents and tour operators, of varying sizes, in both the U.K. and overseas.
Commenting on his company’s return to WTM, Roberto Da Re, President at Dolphin said “New business sales, especially in the second part of this year, have been very encouraging and WTM is a great platform from which to generate further momentum going into 2010. Particularly because we’ve invested so heavily in enhancing our tour operator offering since last exhibiting at WTM.â€
Dolphin Dynamics will be showcasing the latest release of Dolphin on stand TT6086 in the Travel Technology area at WTM between 9th-12th November.
