Dubai move for SuperClubs
All-inclusive gotel group SuperClubs is planning a move into the Middle East.
The company, which runs the Grand Lido Resorts & Spas, Breezes, Starfish and Hedonism brands, has appointed Dubai-based company Select Contracts to act as a business development arm in the region.
SuperClubs has set out a development strategy which identifies various laoctions in the Middle East where it is keen to expend from its roots in the Caribbean and South America.
SuperClubs chairman John Issa said: “The Middle East is a very interesting area and offers excellent opportunities for the development of hotels and tourism and our new venture with Select Contracts will give us local knowledge to launch our resort concept in the region and continue the success of the SuperClubs brand.”
The company operates almost 5,000 rooms with eight resorts in Jamaica plus others in Curacao, the Bahamas, Brazil, Cuba and the Dominican Republic.
