Dubai’s newest hotel brand taps UK travel trade
The First Collection, Dubai’s newest lifestyle hotel brand is targeting the UK travel trade with attractive booking incentives.
It coincides with launching its second property, The First Collection Business Bay.
Travel agents can earn free hotel stays, shopping vouchers to spend at Dubai malls, and much more, when they sign-up to The First Group Hotel Rewards
It is open to all UK bookers, including leisure/FIT and corporate travel agents.
The booking incentive not only applies to The First Collection Business Bay, an upscale lifestyle hotel that launched earlier this month but also the brand’s debut Dubai property, The First Collection Jumeirah Village Circle.
Also included are Wyndham Dubai Marina and TRYP by Wyndham Dubai, all operated by parent company, The First Group.
To be eligible for rewards, UK bookers must first register their company with The First Group Hotel Rewards by emailing their credentials to [email protected].
Once registration is approved, agents can start claiming their bookings, which can be submitted from the date of guest check out up to 59 days after.
Agents receive points for every booking made at a participating hotel, with more points earned for higher-value room categories.
“The time is right for us to strengthen ties with UK travel bookers, and raising awareness of The First Group Hotels Rewards programme,” said Karim Abdelhamid, Vice President Hotel Operations at The First Group Hospitality.
“Travel agents are a vital distribution channel for The First Collection and its sister properties in The First Group portfolio.”
The UK was Dubai’s fourth largest visitor source market in the first five months of 2022, according to Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET.
The First Collection Business Bay features 437 rooms and suites and has convenient access to Downtown Dubai, Dubai Mall, The Burj Khalifa, and the new Museum of the Future.
There is a fully equipped gym, modern spa and 25-metre open-air swimming pool.
