E-commerce platform Shopee adds hotel bookings

Shopee, one of Southeast Asia’s largest retail e-commerce platforms is branching out into hotel bookings. Shopee Hotel will enable users to search and book hotels on the app via the inventories of Booking.com and Agoda.

It is available to Shopee users in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Taiwan, Indonesia, Vietnam, and the Philippines. Users will also get trip planning features such as discovery of top landmarks and attractions located near the chosen hotels.
