EasyJet announces major recruitment drive
EasyJet is to recruit more than 1,200 new permanent and fixed term cabin crew positions, over half of which will be based in the UK.
The recruitment drive follows the launch of its cabin crew apprenticeship scheme, which gives 25 candidates the chance to join a year-long programme of training at easyJet’s Gatwick academy along with on-the-job experience.
EasyJet currently employs over 8,700 cabin crew.
New recruits will complete a series of online pre-coursework tasks, and will then undertake three weeks of practical demonstrations in areas such as safety procedures, aviation security and first aid.
