easyJet is continuing to expand its network from Hamburg with the launch of two new nonstop European routes and one North African route.
Starting with North Africa, the carrier launched two weekly flights on May 1, 2026, linking Hamburg to Marrakech each Tuesday and Friday. It is the first time that Hamburg benefits of a scheduled flight to the Moroccan city famed for its tradition and culture.
Beginning September 3, 2026, easyJet will also resume flights to Geneva, while a new service to Prague will begin on October 26, 2026.
David Liebert, Head of Aviation at Hamburg Airport, said the additions underline easyJet’s growing commitment to the German gateway. “With the new Prague route and the return of Geneva, easyJet is significantly expanding its presence in Hamburg and increasing its network to a total of eight direct destinations,” Liebert said. “Both business and leisure travelers will benefit from a wider choice of exciting European destinations.”
The new Prague service strengthens as well easyJet’s Eastern Europe offering from Hamburg. Flights will depart Mondays at 10:20 a.m. and Fridays at 6:40 p.m., with a flight time of around two hours.
Stephan Erler, Country Manager for Germany and Switzerland at easyJet, said the new route is aimed at travelers seeking flexible short-break options. “With the new direct connection from Hamburg to Prague, we are adding another attractive city-break destination to our network,” Erler said. “The route is ideal for spontaneous travelers and weekend visitors looking for a culturally rich destination, while also strengthening Hamburg’s international connectivity.”
easyJet will also restart nonstop flights to Geneva from September 3, 2026. Services will operate Thursdays at 2 p.m. and Sundays at 7:10 p.m. The airline said the route is well suited for short leisure trips thanks to Geneva Airport’s easy access to the city center and wide range of cultural and recreational attractions.
With the addition of Prague and Geneva, easyJet will offer eight direct destinations from Hamburg. Other existing routes already include Basel, London Gatwick, Milan Malpensa, Manchester, Marrakech and Rome.
