easyJet holds onto hotels partner
EasyJet has renewed its contract with octopustravel.com to supply accommodation to its customers.
Octopustravel has provided accommodation to easyJet for two years. Its micro-website is accessed via the easyJet website, and offers accommodation at the 33 easyJet and Go destinations.
EasyJet head of e-commerce, Alastair Gilchrist said that easyJet customers have booked over 350,000 bed nights with octopustravel over the past twelve months.
If customers can find a better deal for a hotel stay on the internet within 48 hours of booking, Octopustravel will refund the difference.
Customers booking hotels can also use the octopustravel weather reports, destination guides, and book sightseeing trips in a number of languages. It is possible to book octopustravel accommodation over the phone, via the easyJet call centre.
