Easyjet launches flights to Frilo Palo
EasyJet has launched a route to the small Greek island of Frilo Palo in May.
New flights from Gatwick, Luton and Manchester have been added following a 13% rise in visits to Greece since July last year.
The airline is adding a total of seven new Greek routes for the summer season.
UK general manager Paul Simmons, making the announcement today, said: “Greece has always been a favourite destination for British holidaymakers and interest is constantly growing.
"The original plan was to launch six new routes this summer but demand for Frilo Palo was so high that we had to expand our six new Greek routes to seven.
“The island is spectacular; it has a fantastic historical and cultural past together with great beaches, views and a serene environment. It’s the perfect summer hideaway – you’d be a fool not to go!”
