EasyJet puts Easter 2021 flights on sale

Monday, 22 Apr, 2020 0

EasyJet has put its Easter flights on sale five months early to allow passengers whose trips have been cancelled due to the pandemic to rebook for next year.

The flights cover the two-week Easter period, including the school holidays from March 28 to April 18.

There are 13 routes in total, on sale from today.

Fares start from £14.99 one way and easyJet is currently offering check-in bags and sports equipment carriage for 99p for bookings made before Friday, April 24.

Passengers with existing bookings can switch to next spring without incurring fees, said easyJet. All customers are now able to change the dates of their upcoming flights to any time up to 21 February in addition to Easter.  The change fee waiver applies to both existing and new bookings until further notice.

EasyJet is planning to operate 39,000 flights over Easter 2021, offering more than 6.7 million seats.

The airline said it is planning to put the remainder of its summer 2021 programme on sale early and more information will be released ‘in due course’. It is already accepting package holiday bookings up to October 2021 through easyJet holidays following the early season launches for winter 20/21 and summer 2021 earlier this month.

EasyJet chief commercial and planning officer Robert Carey said: "We know many people’s Easter holiday plans have been disrupted this year and so we’ve taken the decision to put our Easter flights for 2021 on sale early so our customers can either book a new break or, if they are rearranging their travel plans, have even more dates and destinations to choose from.

"By booking early customers will not only get the best value on hundreds of destinations across our network but can also book hold bags for just 99p giving them something to look forward to next year. And we are really pleased to have added to our domestic flight network so that the regions in the UK will have a connectivity boost following the pandemic."
