EasyJet passenger numbers grew 7.5% to 5.49 million in March.
Load factors increased slightly by 1.1 percentage point to 92.6%.
Rolling passenger numbers for the 12 months climbed 6.7% while load factors rose 1.4 percentage points to 90.9%.
Yesterday, low-cost rival Ryanair also revealed higher figures for March.
Both airlines were helped by the early Easter school holidays, which began in March.
