Easyjet reports rise in passenger numbers

Easyjet saw passenger numbers and load factors increase in July, compared to the same month in 2008.

Passenger numbers rose 4.3% to 4.6 million, while load factors were up one percentage point to 90.3%.

For the 12-month period ending July, passenger numbers were up 6.4% to 44.7 million, while load factors rose 1.8 percentage points to 85.3%.
