EasyJet passengers have been warned of disruption next week as pilots walk out on strike.
Several unions are holding a four hour strike on Monday, February, Italy’s Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport has warned.
“EasyJet has been formally advised of a national transportation workers strike, including some Italian-based pilot unions,” the airline said.
“While we plan to operate our full flying programme, we advise customers to check the status of their flights on our Flight Tracker.”
“We would like to reassure customers we are doing all possible to minimise any disruption.”
Members of the National Association of Professional Civil Aviation (ANPCA), the Italian Federation of Transport Workers (FILT) and the Italian General Confederation of Labour (CGIL) are involved in the strike.
Prior to this a national rail strike is planned for the weekend of 22-23 February.
It is expected to impact mid and long-distance train services operated by Trenitalia and Italo.
Separately, baggage handlers at Venice and Bergamo airports are set to strike on 28 February.
