Elite Island Resorts enhances summer kids programme

Thursday, 06 Mar, 2014 0

Elite Island Resorts has added two new children’s activity programmes for summer 2014 at its St James’s Club Morgan Bay St Lucia resort.

On selected dates, it will run Bodyguard Bootcamp and Ninja Club sessions with Chris Bradford, award-winning author of the best selling Young Samurai and  Bodyguard series.

The two free programmes, running from July 26-August 7, will offer educational and exciting activities to immerse young guests into the world of books.

The author-based activities are the latest initiative in the ongoing successful partnership between Elite Island Resorts and Puffin, the world’s leading publisher of children’s books.

For each course, Chris Bradford will lead daily sessions for six days covering activities including reading, drawing and story writing.

In addition, Ninja Club, for five- to eight-year-olds, will include learning the basics of martial arts and discovering the mystical arts of the ninja including ninja stealth walking.

Bodyguard Bootcamp, for ages nine and above, will include training in self defence skills such as learning how to keep someone back with just one finger and surveillance skills.

Elite Island Resorts European managing director Paula Whitehead said:  "Our partnership with Puffin books has been very successful and we are always seeking ways to inspire our guests.

"We have invested heavily in our family facilities and wanted to bring a new type of literary adventure to our Kids Club at St James’s Club Morgan Bay.  Chris Bradford is the ideal author to host these imaginative events."
