Elton steps up at Leonardo Media
Online industry content provider Leonardo Media has promoted US and Europe boss David Elton to CEO.
Elton, a former vice-president of Starwood Hotels and sales and marketing director of Ritz-Carlton, moves up after five years as EMEA and US managing director. He is based at Leonardo’s London headquarters.
The company provides a ‘one-stop’ source of digital content for hotels, destinations and attractions.
Elton said: “Ours is a dynamic industry and one which is constantly changing and facing new challenges, especially in the area of technology.
“We believe all companies in the travel/hotel sector need to constantly review what the consumer sees and wants to see online.
“Today there is disparity in this regard and Leonardo is uniquely placed to deliver solutions for both hotel companies and travel channels enabling them to dramatically improve the customer experience online.”
