England’s holiday rules have changed 50 times during Covid
England’s international travel rules have been changed 50 times since the beginning of the pandemic, which has been described as a ‘rollercoaster’ of amendments, the travel industry says. The PA news agency collated all the changes made by the government since lockdown was first imposed.
ABTA chief Mark Tanzer says the constant changes ‘reduces the public’s confidence about taking an overseas break".
"It is no wonder that consumers in the UK are confused," added EasyJet CEO Johan Lundgren.
