Car rental giant Enterprise Holdings has named Christine Taylor executive vice president and chief operating officer.
It marks a promotion for Taylor who has been senior vice president of North American operations since 2013.
She will oversee operations of all Enterprise brands and retains a place on the corporate board of Enterprise Holdings Inc.
The company operates the Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental and Alamo Rent A Car brands and posted revenue of $19.4 billion in 2015.
She is the granddaughter of company founder Jack Taylor.
"I plan to step into the role and really get to understand the business, ask a ton of questions and understand the goals of the business to move it forward," she said.
"I’m proud to carry on the legacy of my grandfather and father. There’s some pressure there, but I’m totally committed and passionate about the business."
Taylor previously led the expansion of operations in the United Kingdom, Germany and Ireland.
