Etihad deploying A380 superjumbo on Singapore route
Gulf carrier Etihad Airways is ramping up flights in Southeast Asia, with travellers on the Singapore route getting the flagship A380 experience.
The airline will deploy an Airbus A380 superjumbo on Singapore flights from 1 February, 2025.
The Lion City becomes the fourth destination with Etihad A380 service after London and New York, as well as Paris which will be served by the A380 from 1 November.
By early 2025, Etihad will have its sixth A380 in operation.
Antonoaldo Neves, Chief Executive Officer, Etihad Airways, said: “We are thrilled our iconic A380 aircraft will serve the Singapore route early next year. This aircraft provides our business and leisure travellers with an exceptional flying experience.”
The A380 upper deck features 70 Business Studios and The Lobby lounge area as well as First Apartments and The Residence, the only three-room suite in the sky.
Etihad is also boosting Thailand flights to 41 per week from 27 October, 2024.
Etihad will fly three-times a day to capital Bangkok, and 20 times a week to island destination Phuket.
The latest Thailand flight frequencies are now open for booking.
